About Us

About Us

When my partner (Berto) told me (Pats) he bought property in Belize, I thought I wouldn’t like it.

That’s because the only part of Belize I knew was Orange Walk, the area my family is from.

But, I fell in love when I saw all the things I could do. I explored Mayan Temples nearby, got familiar with the market and local restaurants. Sometimes I hopped over the border and visit Guatemala, only 30 minutes away! And when I was in the mood, I took the 3-hour drive to Placencia, the cutest little beach town I had ever seen.

The intention was to retire here in Belize but, there's another reason we built this place: we're too vibrant to slow down.
